    Collection 9910 was collected by H.J. Beker on 26th April 2004 in Westhoek, West Flanders, BELGIUM (approx. 51.04°N, 3.56°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coastal dune with a substrate of sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 39; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 20–30 x 3–6 {median} x not recorded {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.0–10.0; base cylindrical, sand bulb; floccosity floccose at apex; rooting not recorded; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 6.0; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.

    Exsiccata: normal.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 75 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis spherical.
