Collection 9870 was collected by C.E. Aaron, det: CEA on 9th September 2001 in Aberffraw, Anglesey, WALES (52.9052°N, 3.9641°W, altitude approximately 290 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as coastal dune with a substrate of sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
