    Collection 12021 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 17th August 2007 in Ossian, SVALBARD (78.9257°N, 12.4542°E, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic, coastal tundra with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code ET (Polar, tundra).

    Pileus: 7–21 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre sepia; and colour at margin greyish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 36; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 16–21 x 3–4 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.6–7.0; base cylindrical, tapering; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 9.5; smell none; taste not recorded.
