    Collection 12037 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 18th August 2007 in London, SVALBARD (78.9631°N, 12.0503°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 12–17 mm diameter; shape umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre dark brick; and colour at margin umber; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 41; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 15–23 x 3 {median} x 3 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.3–7.7; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 10.6; smell not recorded; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.
