    Collection 12036 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 18th August 2007 in London, SVALBARD (78.963°N, 12.0503°E, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra with a substrate of boggy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cortina present: yes.

    Pileus: 18–25 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre fuscous; and colour at margin sepia; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 32; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 13–18 x 3 {median} x 3 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.3–6.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 3.7; smell raphanoid strongly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.
