    Collection 11708 was collected by H.J. Beker on 11th October 2006 in Westhoek, West Flanders, BELGIUM (51.0875°N, 2.5754°E, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coastal dune with a substrate of sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 28 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin cream; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment decurrent; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 48; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 50–63 x 4–5 {median} x 5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.0–15.8; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrous; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 26.6; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: fuscous, sepia.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
