Collection 16565 (herbarium acc. no. UBC F29521, MUOB 256645) is Hebeloma cavipes.

    Collection 16565 was collected by O. Ceska on 23rd November 2007 in Victoria, Saanich Peninsula, Observatory Hill; along the paved road, just above the main gate, British Columbia, CANADA (approx. 48.5263°N, 123.422°W, altitude approximately 150 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Pinaceae (genus Pseudotsuga), Ericaceae (genus Arbutus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland roadside verge, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
