    Collection 10337 was collected by H.J. Beker on 15th October 2004 in Carpegna, Marches, ITALY (43.6206°N, 12.1313°E, altitude approximately 580 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genera Castanea and Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 24–52 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters scalloped; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre ochraceous; and colour at margin cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 61; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 26–58 x 6–8 {median} x 5–8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.7–7.3; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 5.2; smell raphanoid weakly; taste hot, mild.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive, yellowish brown.

    Exsiccata: normal.
