Collection 10451 is Hebeloma cavipes.

    Collection 10451 was collected by H.J. Beker on 25th October 2004 in Ladybower, Derby, ENGLAND (53.3877°N, 1.7549°W, altitude approximately 210 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula), Fagaceae (genus Fagus), Pinaceae (genus Pinus) and Salicaceae (genus Salix) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 38–65 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre dark pinkish buff; and colour at margin pale yellow; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 71; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 48–60 x 7–10 {median} x 9–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.8–6.9; base clavate; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 6.9; smell none; taste bitter weakly.

    Spore deposit colour: umber.

    Exsiccata: normal.
