Collection 11429 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-05-791) is Hebeloma cavipes.

    Collection 11429 was collected by H.J. Beker (JV-05-791) on 26th October 2005 in Viladrau, Girona, SPAIN (41.8722°N, 2.3074°E, altitude approximately 695 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Cistaceae (genus Cistus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous maquis with a substrate of acidic, grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 18–41 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters crenulate, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre ochraceous; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 80; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 17–40 x 3–7 {median} x 3–8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.4–6.7; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 5.0; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 26.1–27.0 x 8.2–8.8 μm; ave. Q = 3.1; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate-stipitate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose, lageniform; special features median thickening; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.52; A/B = 1.03; B/M = 1.57.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 225 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis oblong, thickly sausage-shaped, thinly sausage-shaped.
