Collection 10453 was collected by A. Henrici, det: H.J. Beker on 26th October 2004 in Deepdale, Derby, ENGLAND (53.2313°N, 1.7453°W, altitude approximately 165 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Cistaceae (genus Helianthemum) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as grassland with a substrate of calcareous, grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 33–36 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre clay-buff; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 39; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge weak.
Stipe: 50–57 x 5–6 {median} x 5–7 {basal} mm; stipe Q 8.8–10.0; base clavate; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 14.5; smell raphanoid; taste mild.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.
Exsiccata: normal.
