Collection 8809 was collected by H.J. Beker on 2nd October 2003 in Foret de Soignes, Brussels, BELGIUM (approx. 50.79°N, 4.38°E, altitude approximately 55 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Fagus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
