    Collection 16249 was collected by K. Hosaka (JPN15-895) on 28th September 2015 in Nakatsugawa,Chichibu city, Saitama, JAPAN (approx. 35.9929°N, 138.7925°E, altitude approximately 790 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Larix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
