    Collection 11623 was collected by H.J. Beker on 3rd September 2006 in Kortenburg, Brabant-Flanders, BELGIUM (50.8856°N, 4.5795°E, altitude approximately 30 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 52 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting yes; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre cream, warm buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 56; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 52 x 7 {median} x 13 {basal} mm; stipe Q 6.9; base bulbous, clavate; floccosity floccose weak; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 6.9; smell not recorded; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
