Collection 10610 was collected by A. Bracke, det: H.J. Beker on 18th September 2004 in Wilbauroche, Luxembourg, BELGIUM (49.8133°N, 5.2733°E, altitude approximately 310 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Corylus) and Fagaceae (genus Fagus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of calcareous, decomposed soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: up to 45 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters not recorded; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre warm buff, pinkish buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment adnate, decurrent tooth; maximum depth up to 3 mm; number of complete lamellae 59; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 55 x 7 {median} x 8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.9; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 9.6; smell cocoa; taste not recorded.

Exsiccata: normal.
