Collection 10329 was collected by J. Vesterholt (04-551), det: H.J. Beker on 14th October 2004 in Mte Canale, Carpegna Cerrata, Marches, ITALY (43.7801°N, 12.2964°E, altitude approximately 1000 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Carpinus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of calcareous, decomposed soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: up to 82 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre cream, warm buff; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment decurrent; maximum depth up to 9 mm; number of complete lamellae 52; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.
Stipe: 100 x 16 {median} x 27 {basal} mm; stipe Q 6.3; base bulbous; floccosity none; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior basal wick, hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 7.6; smell raphanoid; taste mild.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.
Exsiccata: normal.
