    Collection 10483 was collected by H.J. Beker on 30th October 2004 in Epping Forest, South Essex, ENGLAND (51.6651°N, 0.04857°E, altitude approximately 105 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Fagaceae (genus Fagus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 46–48 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre pale yellow; and colour at margin pale yellow; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment decurrent tooth; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 48; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 64–66 x 6–7 {median} x 11–15 {basal} mm; stipe Q 9.4–10.7; base bulbous; floccosity floccose weak; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 13.9; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: umber.

    Exsiccata: normal.
