Collection 11339 was collected by I. Salcedo (JV-05-590), det: H.J. Beker on 20th October 2005 in Zuya Altube, Alava, SPAIN (42.9888°N, 2.8685°W, altitude approximately 545 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Fagus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 64–67 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre pale yellow; and colour at margin pale yellow; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 77; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 87–104 x 9 {median} x 13–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 9.7–11.6; base clavate; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 15.5; smell raphanoid strongly; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive, umber.
