    Collection 16846 was collected by H.J. Beker on 11th August 2017 in Frame Lake, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, CANADA (62.4614°N, 114.3809°W, altitude approximately 190 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula), Pinaceae (genus Picea) and Salicaceae (genus Salix) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of boggy, mossy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 14–30 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting not recorded; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre sepia; and colour at margin dark pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 3 mm; number of complete lamellae 43; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 25–50 x 3–6 {median} x 3–6 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.8–10.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 15.2; smell raphanoid strongly; taste not recorded.
