Collection 1000088 (herbarium acc. no. NYS-F-002244.1) is Hebeloma discomorbidum. It is the lectotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma palustre Peck (1899).

    Collection 1000088 was collected by C.H. Peck in October 1898 in Kasoag, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 43.46°N, 75.92°W, altitude approximately 190 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as bog with a substrate of boggy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate, lageniform, ventricose; special features basal thickening, many collapsed in exsiccata; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.46; A/B = 0.79; B/M = 1.92.
