Collection 11808 (herbarium acc. no. LY BR65-23) is Hebeloma discomorbidum. It is the epitype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma mesophaeum var. macrosporum L. Rémy (1965) ["1964"].Description

Collection 11808 was collected by G. Bruchet on 11th October 1965 in Lac Luitel, Isere, FRANCE (approx. 45.0881°N, 5.8497°E, altitude approximately 1300 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Salicaceae (genus Salix) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous bog with a substrate of boggy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
