Collection 1000507 (herbarium acc. no. DBG-F-008633) is Hebeloma discomorbidum. It is an isotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma limacinum A.H. Sm., V.S. Evenson & Mitchel (1983).

    Collection 1000507 was collected by A.H. Smith (89110) on 23rd August 1978 in Pitkin, Savage Lake area, Colorado, UNITED STATES (approx. 39.3645°N, 106.5249°W, altitude approximately 3350 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genera Pinus and Picea) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous, subalpine woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
