Collection 14234 (herbarium acc. no. KRAM F-57422 (holotype), BR 5020184124533 (isotype)) is Hebeloma discomorbidum. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma oreophilum Beker & U. Eberh. (2015).

Description

    Collection 14234 was collected by A. Ronikier, S. Adamcík (heb9) on 17th September 2009 in Belanské Tatra Mts., N slopes of the Hlúpy massif, vicinity of a summit, Western Carpathians, SLOVAKIA (49.2376°N, 20.2222°E, altitude approximately 1970 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cortina present: yes.

    Pileus: 20–40 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown, brownish olive; and colour at margin cream; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 44; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 35–45 x 5 {median} x 5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.0–9.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 11.2; smell raphanoid; taste raphanoid.

    Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.

    Exsiccata: dark.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid, ovoid; colour through microscope brown, brown pale; guttulate weak; papillate weak; Spore Code: O2; P1; D3.

    Basidia: 31.0–33.2 x 7.9–8.8 μm; ave. Q = 3.9; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features basal thickening, median thickening, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.10; A/B = 0.58; B/M = 1.94.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 50 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thinly sausage-shaped up to 10 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 120 μm.
