    Collection 15328 was collected by C. Cripps (CLC1937) on 8th August 2002 in Beartooth Plateau, Site 2, Highline Trailhead, Montana, UNITED STATES (approx. 45.0097°N, 109.4106°W, altitude approximately 3100 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
