    Collection 17982 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 1st September 2018 in 3rd Avenue near Wood St intersection, Whitehorse, Yukon, CANADA (60.7212°N, 135.0559°W, altitude approximately 665 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Populus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as boreal urban roadside with a substrate of grassy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 42; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 30 x 3 {median} x 3 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 17.6; smell none; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 24.7–32.1 x 6.8–9.0 μm; ave. Q = 3.5; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.06; A/B = 0.76; B/M = 1.40.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 60 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 4 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 13 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 85 μm.
