    Collection 11745 was collected by P.-A. Moreau, det: H.J. Beker on 10th November 2006 in Saint Amand, Nord Pas de Calais, FRANCE (50.3966°N, 3.4465°E, altitude approximately 45 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous slagheap with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 18–35 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters overhanging pileus, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre clay-red; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 49; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 25–51 x 3–5 {median} x 3–5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 6.3–12.8; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 18.9; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

    Basidia: 25.0–31.7 x 7.5–8.0 μm; ave. Q = 3.7; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features median thickening; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.05; A/B = 0.74; B/M = 1.45.

    Pleurocystidia: no.
