    Collection 1000083 was collected by C.H. Peck on 6th October 1900 in Essex, Westport, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 44.18°N, 73.43°W, altitude approximately 40 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of fallen soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
