Collection 12338 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-08-408) is Hebeloma eburneum.

    Collection 12338 was collected by J. Vesterholt (08-408) on 25th September 2008 in Hiiumaa: Pühalepa commune, Sarve peninsula, Soonlepa, ESTONIA (58.8505°N, 23.0307°E, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Pinaceae (genera Picea and Pinus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland pathside with a substrate of calcareous, grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Basidia: 27.7–29.4 x 7.7–8.1 μm; ave. Q = 3.7; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape capitate-stipitate, clavate, clavate-stipitate; special features apical thickening, sinuate; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 2.05; A/B = 2.08; B/M = 1.03.

    Pleurocystidia: no.
