Collection 12324 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-08-363) is Hebeloma eburneum.

    Collection 12324 was collected by J. Vesterholt (08-363) on 23rd September 2008 in Hiiumaa, Käina commune, Kassari, Sääre, camping place, ESTONIA (58.7697°N, 22.8154°E, altitude approximately 20 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Cistaceae (genus Helianthemum) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as campsite with a substrate of calcareous alvar, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 23–44 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous yes; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre warm buff, dark pinkish buff, clay-buff, yellowish brown; and colour at margin warm buff, dark pinkish buff, clay-buff, yellowish brown; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 80; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.

    Stipe: 28–55 x 4–7 {median} x 5–9 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.0–7.9; base not recorded; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 9.2; smell raphanoid, raphanoid weakly; taste raphanoid, raphanoid weakly.

    Exsiccata: normal, shiny.

    Basidia: 29.4–37.2 x 7.8–9.3 μm; ave. Q = 3.7; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape capitate-stipitate, clavate-stipitate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features irregular, uniform; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 2.18; A/B = 2.45; B/M = 0.91.
