    Collection 9905 was collected by H.J. Beker on 2nd May 2004 in Potteric Carr, South West Yorkshire, ENGLAND (54.3382°N, 1.0941°W, altitude approximately 250 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of bare, calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 44; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 15–30 x 3–5 {median} x not recorded {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.0–6.7; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 6.0; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.
