    Collection 11042 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker, det: H.J. Beker on 29th July 2005 in Kinnarhyrna, ICELAND (64.8358°N, 23.4515°W, altitude approximately 225 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic shrubland with a substrate of calcareous, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 7–23 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre brownish olive; and colour at margin brownish olive; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 3 mm; number of complete lamellae 48; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 16–25 x 3 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.3–8.3; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrous; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 11.5; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Exsiccata: normal.
