    Collection 11964 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 12th August 2007 in Adventdalen, SVALBARD (78.1733°N, 16.014°E, altitude approximately 25 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra pastureland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cortina present: no.

    Pileus: 12–16 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre dark pinkish buff; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 40; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 19–23 x 3–4 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.2–5.8; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 7.8; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.
