    Collection 10469 was collected by H.J. Beker on 28th October 2004 in Chatsworth, Derby, ENGLAND (53.2291°N, 1.6075°W, altitude approximately 315 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Malvaceae (genus Tilia) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed parkland with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 28–57 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 7 mm; number of complete lamellae 39; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 40–53 x 3–6 {median} x 3–6 {basal} mm; stipe Q 8.3–15.1; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose weak; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 14.0; smell raphanoid; taste bitter.

    Spore deposit colour: yellowish brown.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate-stipitate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features large, median thickening; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.80; A/B = 1.40; B/M = 1.33.
