Collection 1000422 (herbarium acc. no. MICH 41488) is Hebeloma albomarginatum. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma megacarpum A.H. Sm. ex Grilli (2005).

    Collection 1000422 was collected by A.H. Smith (35888), det: E. Grilli on 16th September 1950 in Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Michigan, UNITED STATES (approx. 45.7839°N, 84.7278°W, altitude approximately 180 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
