    Collection 9945 was collected by C.L. Champion, det: H.J. Beker on 19th November 1986 in La Matanza, Canary Islands, SPAIN (approx. 28.45°N, 16.44°W, altitude approximately 650 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as subtropical woodland pathside with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
