    Collection 16445 was collected by D. Farci, det: E. Grilli (020120.01) on 20th January 2002 in Pau, Sardinia, ITALY (39.795°N, 8.77°E, altitude approximately 600 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Fagaceae (genus Quercus), Ericaceae (genus Arbutus) and Pinaceae (genus Pinus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
