    Collection 13784 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies, J.I. Velaz on 5th December 2010 in Off Lugar diseminado Cueva Grande, Canary Islands, SPAIN (28.0005°N, 15.5688°W, altitude approximately 1275 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Castanea) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous, montane, subtropical woodland with a substrate of calcareous soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 38 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre umber; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 52; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 44–54 x 6–7 {median} x 6–7 {basal} mm; stipe Q 6.3–9.0; base cylindrical; floccosity not recorded; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 10.0; smell none; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.

    Exsiccata: normal.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features not recorded; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.17; A/B = 0.60; B/M = 1.96.
