    Collection 20620 was collected by N. Coil, det: G. Atkinson on 18th October 1906 in Tompkins, Ithaca, Coy Glen, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 42.4272°N, 76.5242°W, altitude approximately 125 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Stipe: 35–40 x 6–8 {median} x 10–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.0–5.8; base bulbous; floccosity floccose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords not recorded.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 5.2; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.
