    Collection 15699 was collected by D. Lewis (DPL11907) on 4th December 2015 in Jefferson County, Beaumont, residence of Penny Clark, Texas, UNITED STATES (approx. 30.0789°N, 94.1372°W, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as garden, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 30–60 mm diameter; shape applanate, convex; margin characters not recorded; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting not recorded; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil not recorded.

    Lamellae: attachment adnexed; maximum depth up to 9 mm; number of complete lamellae 72; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 30–60 x 5–12 {median} x 8–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.0–6.0; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity pruinose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords not recorded.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 5.5; smell earthy; taste not recorded.
