    Collection 17975 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 31st August 2018 in Railway Station, Whitehorse, Yukon, CANADA (60.7215°N, 135.0506°W, altitude approximately 665 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genera Populus and Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as boreal shrubland riverside with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cortina present: no.

    Pileus: 40–42 mm diameter; shape umbonate weakly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 74; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 40–50 x 9 {median} x 11–15 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.4–5.6; base clavate; floccosity pruinose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 5.5; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid, limoniform; colour through microscope brown; guttulate yes; papillate very strongly; Spore Code: O3; P1; P2; D4.

    Basidia: 28.9–32.8 x 9.1–9.5 μm; ave. Q = 3.3; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose, lageniform; special features basal thickening, geniculate, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.19; A/B = 0.83; B/M = 1.49.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 90 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, ellipsoid, isodiametric, thickly sausage-shaped up to 15 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 100 μm.
