    Collection 16856 was collected by H.J. Beker on 12th August 2017 in Moose Hill, Breton, Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA (53.1418°N, 114.6097°W, altitude approximately 810 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Picea) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 34 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 78; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 40–50 x 7 {median} x 10 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.7–7.1; base bulbous, clavate; floccosity pruinose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords yes.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 8.6; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid, limoniform; colour through microscope yellow, yellow brown; guttulate yes; papillate very strongly; Spore Code: O3; P1; P2; D3.

    Basidia: 28.6–30.5 x 9.8–10.1 μm; ave. Q = 2.9; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, cylindrical, ventricose; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.16; A/B = 0.98; B/M = 1.21.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 80 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis isodiametric up to 16 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 100 μm.
