Collection 18027 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 2nd September 2018 in Fox Lake Burn Trail, Klondyke Highway North, Yukon, CANADA (61.4104°N, 135.7103°W, altitude approximately 900 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genera Populus and Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as boreal woodland pathside with a substrate of grassy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Stipe: 35 x 16 {median} x 16 {basal} mm; stipe Q 2.2; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords yes.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 1.8; smell none; taste not recorded.
