Collection 19124 was collected by H. Turrini, det: E. Grilli (GT2017-038, EG-170814.01) on 14th July 2017 in Rifugio Cima Garibaldi, loc. Passo dello Stelvio, Bormio (SO), Lombardy, ITALY (approx. 46.5325°N, 10.4543°E, altitude approximately 2840 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as alpine grassland pathside with a substrate of acidic soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
