    Collection 18817 was collected by N. Siegel (3285) on 3rd October 2018 in Marlboro trailhead, Mount Monadnock, Jaffrey , New Hampshire, UNITED STATES (approx. 42.8592°N, 72.1385°W, altitude approximately 400 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula), Fagaceae (genera Fagus and Quercus) and Pinaceae (genera Pinus and Tsuga) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 54; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 47–54 x 5–8 {median} x 8–13 {basal} mm; stipe Q 6.8–9.4; base bulbous; floccosity pruinose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords yes.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 10.4; smell raphanoid weakly; taste mild, raphanoid weakly.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose, ventricose; special features clamped septa, plaques; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.74; A/B = 1.35; B/M = 1.33.
