Collection 1000281 (herbarium acc. no. NY 814865) is Hebeloma albidulum. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma exiguifolium Murrill (1917).Description

Collection 1000281 was collected by F.S. Boughton, det: W.A. Murrill on 28th September 1915 in Pittsford, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 43.0906°N, 77.515°W, altitude approximately 150 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
