Collection 1000451 was collected by C.H. Peck on 6th October 1900 in Essex County, Westport, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 44.18°N, 73.43°W, altitude approximately 40 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
