Collection 19950 was collected by N. Siegel (4655) on 30th October 2019 in Oregon Dunes NRA, just south of Florence, South Jetty Road, before foredunes near beach. , Oregon, UNITED STATES (approx. 43.9561°N, 124.1427°W, altitude approximately 20 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as willow thicket with a substrate of boggy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 12–22 mm diameter; shape applanate, convex; margin characters not recorded; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting not recorded; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre dark brick; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil yes.
Lamellae: attachment not recorded; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 32; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 22–50 x 3–4 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.3–12.5; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 20.9; smell raphanoid weakly; taste raphanoid weakly.
