    Collection 14409 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 12th October 2014 in Reflections Lake, Mount Rainier Nat Park, Washington, UNITED STATES (46.767°N, 121.7304°W, altitude approximately 1510 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Pinaceae (genera Abies, Picea and Pseudotsuga) and Salicaceae (genus Salix) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed, subalpine woodland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 16–24 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters sulcate; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre sepia; and colour at margin yellowish brown; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment not recorded; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 28; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 23–32 x 2 {median} x 2 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.0–16.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base very strongly; slenderness measure 17.5; smell fruit; taste not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features basal thickening, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.21; A/B = 0.66; B/M = 1.97.
