    Collection 13106 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 26th August 2009 in Lac Verney, Aosta Valley, ITALY (45.6859°N, 6.886°E, altitude approximately 2105 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 17–27 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 38; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 18–23 x 3–4 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.5–7.7; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, tomentose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 6.7; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 28.1–32.4 x 7.6–7.7 μm; ave. Q = 4.0; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lentiform, ventricose; special features bifurcate, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.22; A/B = 0.53; B/M = 2.33.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 40 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 20 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 150 μm.
