Collection 1000127 (herbarium acc. no. TUR-071411) is Hebeloma marginatulum. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma polare Vesterh. (1989).Description

Collection 1000127 was collected by S. Huhtinen, det: J. Vesterholt on 27th July 1980 in Longyearbyen at campsite, SVALBARD (approx. 78.21°N, 15.64°E, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra campsite, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
